We are especially proud of the connected parking technology project deployed for the SSE Arena with partner Electro Automation.
The SSE Arena is Northern Ireland’s premier entertainment venue: an indoor multipurpose complex with an audience capacity of up to 10,800 that has attracted many international performers for concerts, family events, theatre shows, comedy, sports events, and exhibitions. An efficient and beloved location for all citizens, and home to the Stena Line Belfast Giants ice hockey club, which welcomes over 215,000 fans each season.
Can you imagine all of the traffic congestion these crowds could potentially create, if their flow were not efficiently managed?
The venue owner, Odyssey Trust Company, sought a parking access control solution that would not only optimize the existing areas operations, but also simplify and integrate the parking offering and validation into the existing Arena app.
Electro Automation and HUB smart parking solution encompasses integrated mobile technology, modular Jupiter system, and overarching software system JMS, thus allowing the Arena to:
- offer a flawless parking experience to all visitors
- grant fast entry/exit flows and optimize parking capacity
- reduce stress in booking a parking space (it's all in-app now!)
- simplify the validation offer across all retail locations.
