Quality is a priority for our business. FAAC S.p.A., parent company of HUB Parking Technology and its affiliates, has implemented integrated Quality and Environmental Management Systems, certified in accordance with international standards. We are committed to continuous improvement of quality, security, and operational processes, to drive ongoing improvements in our offerings and processes.  

The certifications and compliances presented below cover key areas including quality, information security, cloud services, accessibility, environmental management, occupational health and safety, payment security, and product performance.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). It provides a framework for organizations to ensure they consistently deliver products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements while continuously improving their overall performance. The certification scope of FAAC Technologies has been extended to include IAF 33 (Information Technology, Software Development and Computer Services), alongside IAF 19 and IAF 28, recognizing the quality management practices applied to our software, IT, and digital service activities.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard that specifies requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS). It provides a framework for organizations to identify, manage, monitor, and continually improve their environmental performance, helping reduce environmental impact, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainable business practices.

ISO 45001

ISO 45001 is the international standard for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S). It provides a framework for organizations to proactively improve workplace safety, prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, reduce risks, and create healthier and safer working conditions for employees and other stakeholders.

ISO/IEC 27001

ISO/IEC 27001 is the globally recognized international standard that specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Achieved by FAAC S.p.A. and HUB Italia S.r.l., this certification confirms conformity with international information security standards and supports the protection of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.

ISO/IEC 27017

ISO/IEC 27017 is an international standard that provides additional guidelines for information security controls in cloud services. Achieved by FAAC S.p.A. and HUB Italia S.r.l., it recognizes the adoption of specific controls and best practices designed to enhance the security and governance of cloud-based services.

ISO/IEC 27018

ISO/IEC 27018 is the international standard focused on the protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in public cloud environments. Achieved by FAAC S.p.A. and HUB Italia S.r.l., it certifies compliance with privacy principles and best practices for protecting personal data processed as a cloud service provider.

LVD 2014/35/UE

The Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU (EN 60950-1:2006+A11:2009+A1:2010+A12:2011+A2:2013+22:2006; EN62311:2008) establishes essential safety requirements for electrical equipment operating within specific voltage limits. It helps ensure that products are designed and manufactured to protect users against electrical hazards, providing a high level of safety and reliability throughout their intended lifecycle.

EMC 2014/30/UE

The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2014/30/EU (EN 61000-6-2:2005; EN61000-6-3:2007+A1:2011) ensures that electrical and electronic equipment can operate correctly within their electromagnetic environment without causing or suffering unacceptable interference. Compliance supports reliable performance and the safe coexistence of multiple electronic devices.

RoHS 2011/65/UE

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2011/65/EU (EN 50581:2012) restricts the use of specific hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It promotes safer products, reduces environmental impact, and supports responsible manufacturing and recycling practices throughout the product lifecycle.

WEEE 2012/19/UE

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2012/19/EU promotes the proper collection, treatment, recycling, and recovery of electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its life. It supports circular economy principles by reducing electronic waste and encouraging sustainable resource management.

94/62/CE

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive 94/62/EC establishes measures to prevent and reduce the environmental impact of packaging and packaging waste. It promotes waste minimization, recycling, recovery, and the responsible use of materials throughout the packaging lifecycle.

ADA / ISO-TR 22411:2008 / EAA (Dir. 2019-882 UE)

Compliance with ADA, ISO/TR 22411, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA) demonstrates a commitment to accessibility and inclusive design. These standards and regulations help ensure that products and services can be accessed and used by people with a wide range of abilities, promoting equal access and an improved user experience.

UL

UL Certification confirms that a product has been independently tested and evaluated for compliance with recognized safety requirements. It demonstrates adherence to rigorous standards aimed at reducing safety risks and ensuring reliable product performance.

cULus

The cULus Listing indicates that a product has been certified by UL to meet the applicable safety requirements for both Canada (cUL) and the United States (UL). It demonstrates compliance with harmonized North American safety standards.

RED (Ble Park and RF park boards)

The Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU ensures that radio-enabled products meet essential requirements related to safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and efficient use of the radio spectrum. Compliance confirms that wireless communication devices can operate safely and effectively within the European market.

IP Lanes Stations

IP43 indicates protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm and against water spray up to 60° from the vertical. This rating helps ensure reliable operation of Lane Stations in outdoor and semi-exposed environments.

IP Slim Lane Stations

IP44 indicates protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm and against water splashes from any direction. This level of protection makes Slim Lane Stations suitable for outdoor installations exposed to weather conditions.

IP Pay Station

IP20 indicates protection against contact with solid objects larger than 12.5 mm, while providing no specific protection against water ingress. This rating supports the reliable operation of Pay Stations installed in protected indoor environments and sheltered parking facilities.

IK09 (display touch screen APS)

IK09 certifies resistance to mechanical impacts up to 10 joules, helping protect the APS touch screen displays against vandalism, accidental impacts, and intensive daily use in unattended parking facilities. This rating supports long-term durability and reliable operation in demanding parking environments.

IK08 (Lanes touch screen display)

IK08 certifies resistance to mechanical impacts up to 5 joules, helping protect the Lane touch screen displays against accidental impacts and the challenges of high-traffic public installations. This rating supports long-term durability and reliable operation in demanding parking environments.

UNI EN 12414:2020

Compliance with UNI EN 12414:2020, Resistance to Burglary Class P2, certifies that the product has been tested for resistance against burglary attempts according to recognized European standards. It provides assurance of enhanced physical security and protection in unattended and public installations.

PCI DSS Service Provider Level 1

PCI DSS Service Provider Level 1 is the highest level of compliance within the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) framework. Maintained by FAAC Technologies for its cloud platform, it demonstrates adherence to the most stringent global security requirements for the processing, transmission, and protection of payment card data, providing a secure and trusted environment for digital payment services.
